First, a quick note about a common misunderstanding among new users (nowadays):
MyPaint is not a web application
In order to use MyPaint, you need to download the application to your computer, and run it locally. You do not use it in the browser, and there is no mobile port (unless you own a Nokia n900). MyPaint is free and open source, and tends to work best on Linux.
Oh, hello there. It seems you stumble upon our humble abode. Welcome to the MyPaint Community! What is MyPaint you ask? MyPaint is a nimble, distraction-free, and easy tool for digital painters. It supports graphics tablets made by Wacom, and many similar devices. It has a powerful brush engine which allows artist to emulate traditional brushes, or experiment to create unique digital brushes. First an important note that a lot of new people seemingly miss
Here you’ll find artwork created by the awesome artists here. A place where budding artist to get the critique to improve. A place where artists can collaborate with other artist and also get user support. A place where we can connect.
